custom fields not displaying

hello

i set up 2 different custom fields (keys= mood and weather, value= good and sunny)

however, on front end nothing is displaying.

i read in documentation that i must change the code if i want them to display??

Why exactly do they not show automatically in front end after i activate them in post admin area??
