    If you know how to program PHP, there are some filter hooks in place to allow you to modify and extend the plugin, including the contact form. Please look in the “includes” directory at the pta-display-directory.php file, which has the main functions for displaying the directory and the contact form. You will see quite a few hooks in place to allow extending of the plugin.

    The basic plugin doesn’t have options built-in for modifying it, and I haven’t programmed any extensions for the contact form itself yet.

    However, there is an extension on my plugins site that lets you integrate my Member Directory plugin with the very powerful Gravity Forms plugin, which is extremely flexible (I have a developer license for Gravity Forms and use it for several sites).

    I also have my own extension to allow you to add custom fields to the Member Directory itself (but not the contact form yet).
