# Custom fields help!

 * We have some custom fields in our site that enable the users to add pictures 
   and video their posts like this:
    [http://voodooheadstv.com/vault/pc/left-4-dead-2-the-passing-dlc/](http://voodooheadstv.com/vault/pc/left-4-dead-2-the-passing-dlc/)
   The problem is that they can use ANY html code in both of the fields and cause
   problems like: [http://voodooheadstv.com/blogs/aktualizaciq-na-game-inga/](http://voodooheadstv.com/blogs/aktualizaciq-na-game-inga/)
   Is there a way to fix this?The picture thing uses thimthumb and the other just
   uses the embed html from youtube and streaches it inside the Видео box.

 * Maybe run strip_tags on the custom field value before using it in your code/templates?

 * I have no idea how this will work.The video custom field uses the code from youtube
   if i block html will it still work?

   very confusing.

 * The link I gave is THE page on explaining how to use the strip_tags function.
   It does include a few examples.

 * well i do see alot of code and i think i understand how it works.The bad thing
   is that im not so good with WP and i dont even know where to put the code and
   how to use it.I have a feel the video section on my site will stop working if
   i disable HTML :/

 * Im using the “custom field template” plugin and here is my custom field setting
   for my image custom field:
    [image_value] type = text size = 60 label = Картинка:
 * here you can see that people can embed html in the custom field resulting in
