    I have a problem while importing posts with custom fields while using this plugin

    Basically, the data in the custom fields is correctly imported into the database but the data doesn’t appear on the fronted of my posts.

    I noticed that if I open the post and click “Update”, without changing anything inside the imported posts, then the fields data appears correctly in the fronted.

    But:
    – If I use the bulk edit inside wordpress, the data still doesn’t appear in the fronted
    – I can’t manually update each imported post otherwise this plugin would be useless for me as adding this process would cost me more time, so all the benefits of the plugin in terms of velocity would be nulled

    Why this happens and what to do?

    Hi,

    Could you please tell me how did you create those custom fields in your WordPress? Is it created using the WordPress default custom fields option or theme-generated custom fields or custom fields created using the custom coding? Please share this detail, I will help you with the possible solution.

    Hello, I have bought a premium theme that is using the MetaBox plugin to create the fields: https://wordpress.org/plugins/meta-box/

    Note that I have a support ticket currectly open with them but still no solution, it may be worth a read: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fields-data-doesnt-appear-on-frontend/

    I can’t tell much more since the arrays the theme is using are encrypted with ioncube and I have no access

    Can you help me with this?

    Your plugin that I’m using is the free version.
    I have only bought the theme.
    Metabox plugin used in the theme is also the free version.

    We are not providing support for the mentioned theme/plugin. For the un-supported third-party plugins and themes, extra values will get stored in the database to make them displayed in the front-end of the website.
