# Custom Fields Button

 * I’m trying to add custom fields to my post and whenever I click on the button“
   Add Custom Field” nothing happens, it takes away whatever I typed into the name
   and value and returns nothing.
 * Do I need to add anything else to my functions.php file to make this work?
 * Thank you

 * Wow, my mistake. You gotta hit “Enter” and it saves the new custom field then.
