    Two questions really:

    1. How can I add custom fields to an FAQ? I’d prefer not to use Advanced Custom Fields because it’s caused performance problems for me in the past.

    2. Can I have a many to many relationship between FAQs and WooCommerce products? For example product A, B and C might share an FAQ. Product C might have some additional FAQ if it’s own and product D might have some unique FAQ.

    Question 2 is related to question 1 because if I was doing this from scratch I’d have a custom field on each FAQ, where all the product IDs it relates to could be listed.

    Btw. I’m keen to use product IDs not product names in case the product ever gets renamed.

    Hi Adam,

    1) The only way to add custom fields to the FAQs are through Options -> Fields.

    2) Yes you can assign a FAQ to multiple products.

    To do so:
    – Create a FAQ
    – Then edit a product, scroll down to the product data section and click the FAQs tab. From there you should be able to select a FAQ from the left column and click “Add FAQs” which will bring it over to the right column
