# Custom Fields After Registration

 * In the old forums I see this post:

   When you create custom registration/profile fields, you can specify whether the
   field should be visible during registration or only after registration (see Dashboard-›
   s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields).”_
 * However, I cannot find this setting option anywhere.
 * I am trying to do exactly the same thing they did… Provide the basic simple free
   registration form, and then direct the user to a profile page to finish filling
   out the custom fields. What am I missing? Have the plugin options changed since
   that last post was answered?

 * In case others are looking for this same setting, I found it under the “Allow
   Profile Edits” dropdown when creating a custom field.
 * For some reason I looked at that page a hundred times and didn’t find that option
   in the bottom of the dropdown.
