  • Hi rwkadmin,

It looks like it’s only happening with the custom fields and not the categories. Your product pages look customized and I don’t see an additional information tab that might indicate what’s assigned to what. With that in mind, do all of your products have a value for each of the custom fields? For example, if I check Contemporary for Stove Style, I get zeroes for both options under Fuel Type. Do you have any products that are set to both Contemporary for Stove Style and also Wood or Multi-Fuel for Fuel Type?

Yes, A lot of products have 4 or more fields assigned.
    Thank you

    Any ideas on this problem?
can I add Catagories to catagories?

    Hi Alan

I’m not sure what you mean by that. Products can only be assigned to one category. You assign custom fields to individual products, not categories.

So far, we’ve not been able to recreate the same issue you were experiencing with custom fields. I don’t know if it’s related to the fact that you have custom product links, but at first glance, I wouldn’t think so. The mixup might stem from the fact that, when you check both a category and a custom field, it uses OR logic and will display results from either or. However the count might be reflecting AND logic. We’ll take a look at this and try and update how we word it in the back end so it’s more clear.
