I would like to add job location automatically in the seo title. I used the custom field finder plugin and it showed that the name of the custom field for job location is _job_location. I added the snippet variable %%cf_job_location%% in seo title but it does not display the job location. Tried %%_job_location%% %%job_location%% but still no results. What is the right way to do it?

    Hello @svwsolutions

I also looking for the solution to make the similar titles like you want, but it is not so easy…

This is because the information saved in WPJM like job_location, company_name etc. are not as “custom field” which the Yoast SEO supports. These information are saved as ‘meta post’.

If you going to find the solution, please let me know!

Does this only deal with fields? https://wpschema.com/job-posting-schema/ I guess you could use WPJM Field Editor and make your own custom fields. Yoast 11 sounds like it’s causing some issues with people’s existing schema setups already

    Hi!

As @kibus90 mentioned, our job information is saved as post_meta, so I don’t have a solution for you. Have you asked Yoast’s support for help with this?

Hi, @richardmtl not yet asked Yoast’s support. After looking in net for solutions have found out that should create a new custom field using plugin and that custom field would have a custom field name. Then should do some coding which would create that custom field snippet in yoast. So going to try.
