We’re creating a listing of lesson plans – a unique content type. In our taxonomy (on paper), each lesson plan can have one or more US core standards associated with it.
An example might be a math lesson plan that corresponds to two standards: 1.4.2: Multidigit Multiplication and 1.4.3: Carrying. Each lesson is planned to have other metadata (tags, etc) as well.
There are about 1,800 terms in the Core Standards table (external, currently), and each row in the table has several columns.
What’s the best way to integrate this metadata into WordPress as one or more custom fields associated with a content type?
