# Custom Field Problem

 * I am trying to create an archive index accoring to the instructions at codex.
   wordpress.org but I’m having a problem.
 * When I go to set the custom field to _wp_page_template I can’t because there 
   is no drop down box for me to select it from.
 * I have done this on previous blogs and I don’t understand why it’s not showing
   up this time. Did I not set something up correctly?

 * Don’t bother adding a custom field manually if you want to select a custom template.
 * Under Page Options, there should be a drop down box called Page Template. Use
   this to select your custom template.
 * BTW, nice looking site:) However, your home link appears to go to `http://www.
   bleikamp.com/stage/` rather than `http://www.bleikamp.com`
