# Custom excerpt vs. automatic excerpt?

 * This is a great plug-in, but I was wondering if it can use the custom excerpts
   that I’ve written for each post instead of just the first characters (however
   many).

 *  I replaced `get_the_content()` with `get_the_excerpt()`
    on line 283 of featured-
   category-posts.php
