Am testing your plugin for a Client and in the back end there seems to be an issue with the custom email within the booking details – the pop-up window for the custom email is partially off the screen and so it cannot be sent and not all placeholder shortcodes can be seen.

    Check this screenshot:

    Your help much appreciated.

    Hi,

Thanks for the screen shot. That’s indeed a CSS conflict with a third party plugin installed on your website, which is wrongly loading CSS assets even when the active plugin is Vik Booking.

Our plugins never load CSS or JS assets on pages where Vik Booking is not being displayed by WordPress, but many other plugins don’t use the same technique. You would save server resources without needing to load useless CSS asset files.

Our suggestion is to use the browser inspector tool to see what CSS files, and so what plugins, are currently interfering with the default styles declared by Vik Booking for the modal windows. Once you’ve found the plugin responsible of this CSS conflict, it’s necessary to stop it, or to force the proper CSS rules with an !important clause by adding custom CSS code to the apposite file made available by Vik Booking for the back-end section. This way you won’t need to touch any core files, you just add a few CSS rules/properties that resolve the conflict with your third party plugin.

If you would like our designers to help you fix this conflict, we kindly ask you to get in touch with our team by using the contact form on our website. Thank you!

    The VikWP Team
