ACF fields : Custom Directory and Secure Directory aren’t working

    Hi,

    First of all great plugin, i’m enjoying using it.

    I’m using Advanced Custom Fields and Frontend admin adds a couple of options to the file and image uploads ( change the upload directory and also secure the directory ). Unfortunately neither of these appear to be working, the files still go into the year/month directory and the files are accessible to anyone which is a great shame as these would be great features.

    Wow, this feature is getting a lot of attention and we didn’t even announce it. 😁 It is a shame that it isn’t working for you. We will try to figure out why that is.

    Do you have any custom settings for the media library? Is it perhaps creating a duplicate instead of moving the files?

    Hi Shabti,

    I’ve no custom media settings and no duplicates. The image or file is uploaded as normal into the year/month uploads folder with no directory protection.

    Are you using the wp library or basic upload?

    Were the directories already in existence. I think the issue is that Frontend Admin failed to make those directories.

    We just pushed a fix for this and hopefully it will work for you as well
