Custom CSS Styling not applying to theme header

I’ve just started using the html5blank theme (I’ve been following the wonderful Chris Lam tutorial) and for some reason I can’t get my stylesheets to apply correctly in the header.php file.
I’ve deleted everything that was originally in the style.css file and replaced it with my own styles copied over from my Sublime Text files. This is the code I’ve applied in the head for the style sheets –
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”<?php bloginfo(‘stylesheet_directory’)?>style.css” />
Here’s the code for my header –
<body <?php body_class(); ?>>
<header>
<div class=”left-header”>
</div>
<div class=”right-header”>
<div class=”right-header-top”>
<div id=”contact”>
<p>0113 220 5265</p>
<p>hello@featuremedia.co.uk</p>
</div>
</div>
<div class=”right-header-bottom”>
<nav>
</nav><i class=”fa fa-facebook” aria-hidden=”true”></i>
<i class=”fa fa-twitter” aria-hidden=”true”></i>
<i class=”fa fa-instagram” aria-hidden=”true”></i>
<i class=”fa fa-youtube-play” aria-hidden=”true”></i>
<i class=”fa fa-linkedin” aria-hidden=”true”></i>
</div>
</div>
</header>Am I missing some indentation or closing tag somewhere? What’s strange is the images for the logo / phone / email have all gone into the correct position but the icon tags are not placing correctly, the nav ‘Home’ tag is not and the <p> tags are not showing up at all. Any assistance or guidance as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.
