I changed a older site with WP 5.7 to Astra Version: 3.2.0 and and template Outdoor Adventures.

Very strange when I try using the Astra Custom CSS. The changes is showing just when I enter the CSS but then when saved and reload site the changes is not working at all.

I tried the addon “Simple Custom CSS and JS” and there I have no problem doing the changes and they are working with no problem.

Somthing seems broken with the Astra built in custom CSS. I have no casche function activated.

Maby caused by: Error in Astra custom CSS, Older site that used Virtue theme, Problem in Outdoor Adventures template, I done someting wrong 🙂

I think I have a explanation to this behavior.

The Astra Custom CSS is overwritten by addons later. The Item I changed was a header in a calendar addon. When inserted in Astra CSS it was displayed but when reloaded site I think the calendar addon again changed to its customization.

So easy explanation Astra Custom CSS “only” affect theme items.

    Hi @webbmasterpianise,

I just would like to clarify that the Additional CSS on the Customizer is a WordPress feature, not the theme. As long as you target the class/id correctly then the CSS code you put there should work unless it’s overridden by another CSS using a third-party plugin.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 🙂
