Custom CSS for Thumbnails in List widget

Hi,

I’m would like to add thumbnails to my list widget and managed to do it with the instructions provided here:

The images show up, but they show up above my events. That creates a lot of white space. I would like the images to appear inline with the text (so in front of the text).

(If possible I would also like the images to be a bit smaller or round but this is secondary to me above question).

I tried asking on the Events Widget support forum on their site, but did not get any good answer on my questions if this is even possible and if I would receive support for this if I purchase the widget. I’m hoping I might find an answer here.
