 * Hi
    The CSS class for author in overlay credits is “.isc-source-text”, but I
   need to customize the name of author and the licence name. In inspector both
   takes default css and I need to change it. What is the class or how can I assign
   them a class? Both are in dark color and I need to set them in white. I also
   need to give them some padding. Thanks.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fcustom-css-259%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi gcordero,
 * thanks for reaching out.
 * I am not sure I understand your question. Are you asking how to only add CSS
   to the author name and license name? How is that different from using the existing
   class for the whole source text since it basically just contains the name and
   license?
 * Thanks,
    Thomas

 * Hi,
    The name and license do not take the style defined for the word for “Overlay
   pre-text”. The name and license take the default styles from my template, while
   the word for “Overlay pre-text” takes the .isc-source-text style with no problem.
   I would like to send you an image to explain you so you could understand better.
   It’s basically that, I need to style the two words for name and license. The
   existing class is not taking all the source text as it does not include the name
   and the license. I’m using the Divi template, maybe that’s a problem?

 * Hi gcordero,
 * > I would like to send you an image
 * You could upload it to a service like imgur.com and share the URL here.
    I had
   a closer look at the link you sent and found the issue and possible explanation.
   The HTML code is wrong and misinterpreted by the browser.
 * Divi could have its part here. There is a wrapper around the image that is usually
   not there. Could I ask you to remove the link around the image? I am only guessing
   here, but that could remove some of the HTML and allow us to see if that changes
   anything.
 * Thanks

 * Hi, yes, the option to enlarge the photo with Divi was making the credits show
   on two lines. I have disabled that option (important though). But anyway the
   name of the photographer takes the style of the template. I send images.

 * Thanks for testing the Divi option. If you want to continue using it then please
   revert it back and I will try if I can come up with a CSS solution for that misformatted
   code.
 * Thanks,

 * Hi [@gcordero](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gcordero/),
 * I had another look and believe that I might have found a solution within ISC.
 * Would you be able to test the beta version from [this link](https://github.com/webgilde/image-source-control/archive/74-span-container.zip)?
 * Just disable the currently installed ISC plugin and install the one from the
   list. No data will be lost.
 * The change is part of the larger 2.0 rewrite so you might experience other changes
   in the backend. There are no critical errors I know of, though.
 * Thanks,
    Thomas

 * Hi
    I installed the new version of the plugin. I realized that I have to remove
   the photos from the site (delete them) and re-upload them to show the credit
   at the bottom. I did so with the photo of the tree, which was much better with
   the aligned texts and in white. But I tried with another photo and could not
   make it visible, and in another, the “public domain” credits were in color, therefore
   they are not visible on the photo. Is it incompatible with the Divi template?
   Thank you!

 * Hi [@gcordero](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gcordero/),
 * thanks for testing.
 * I checked the link you provided and can see the source of the image with the
   tree being in one line. That seems to be an improvement to me.
 * Could you point me to the other images that show the source wrong?
 * Btw., it shouldn’t have been needed to re-upload the image. Maybe there is some
   caching happening that prevents changes from showing up right away.
 * Thanks,
    Thomas

 * Hi
    I thought the same about the cache, but I cleared the cache of the browser
   and the site several times. I also uploaded a new photo and it did not take the
   credit name. Some photos yes and others no. It does not show it [http://compone.cl/elnahue/ambientalmente-adentación/](http://compone.cl/elnahue/ambientalmente-adentación/)(
   the lizard) And here [http://compone.cl/elnahue/cultura/](http://compone.cl/elnahue/cultura/)
   the photo shows the text in a single line (good!), but the credit is shown in
   green, so it is not visible (Public Domain Mark 1.0). If you can solve these
   problems, perhaps you could also give the text a smaller margin (top: 1.2344px;)
   to make it look better. I have tried putting the .isc-source-text style in my
   css but it doesn’t take it. And most importantly, is it possible to see the credit
   when enlarging the photo too? This will also be important in the image galleries.
   I have seen that these features exist on other sites but I can’t find if they
   use a plugin. Thanks you!

 * Hi [@gcordero](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gcordero/),
 * thanks for your feedback.
 * The first URL is not working. Please let me know the correct one.
 * You can influence the style of the text source link with CSS.
 * E.g., the following CSS rules would make sure that the link is white. It also
   includes your suggestion for a margin.
 *     ```
       .isc-source-text { margin-top: 1.23px !important; }
       .isc-source-text a { color: #fff !important; }
       ```
 * `!important` makes sure that it is not overridden by the theme style.
 * > And most importantly, is it possible to see the credit when enlarging the photo
   too? This will also be important in the image galleries.
 * Probably not. There are scripts that enlarge photos and also show the image caption
   then. I cannot think of a general solution I could offer for that.
 * The Overlay option is the most difficult to display sources since other styles
   and scripts can influence it. I would always suggest to also use a source list
   below the post content.
 * Thanks,
    Thomas
 * Hi [@gcordero](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gcordero/),
 * I fixed another issue related to the position of the overlay. You can apply it
   by installing [this version](https://github.com/webgilde/image-source-control/archive/master.zip).
 * Hi, I installed the new version but I think the behavior is the same. I erased
   the lizard photo and installed it again but something are blocking the credits
   view in this photo. And the tree photo, I have problems for to positioning the
   words although I have the css, are there another style that inspector don’t show.
   If I put margin-top: -30px!important; in inspector is allright but this don’t
   work. The normal should be padding-bottom, I think. Thanks!
 * Your site does not seem to use that new version or the cache needs to be refreshed.
   One thing I added to the code is still missing.
 * Please also send me a working link to the page with the lizard photo.
 * Thanks!
 * Hi, the lizard is in [http://compone.cl/elnahue/ambientalmente-adecuado/](http://compone.cl/elnahue/ambientalmente-adecuado/),
   what is a working link?
    The plugin is good, is the 2.0 alpha version, and for
   the doubts I installed it again but the system said me it was installed. The
   browser cache is clean, but I installed now a WP Super Cache cleaner for the
   site and I cleared the cache.
