[Resolved] Custom Content Type Manager custom fields NOT showing in mapping

  • 2 questions:
1/ Only 1 of the custom fields for a CCTM content type show in the list of mappable fields after importing the csv file
    Example: Fruits – apple, orange
    Veg – peas, beans
    Only “Fruits” is selectable
2/ If a custom field has multiple values, how do I enter them in the csv?
Using above example, how do I enter “apple, orange” for the fruits cf?

    1. Yes, CCTM have compatibility issues with ultimate importer as it quiet different than other custom post plugins. Our plugin is developed to meet the common custom post plugins. This need to be customized to match the CCTM way of mapping.

    2. Fields with embedded commas must be quoted like below

    1997,Ford,E350,”apple, orange, Super, luxurious truck”

1/ Shame – any idea how to match CCTM mapping?

2/ Are you saying put all labels and choices together in one field? Let’s say I have 2 custom fields labelled:
Fruit with options of apple, orange, pear
and Veg with options of pea, bean, lettuce
    Would that be:
Fruit,”apple, orange, pear”, Veg, “pea, bean, lettuce ”

    1. The current version doesnt support CCTM
    2. No, I tried to give you an example to your last question

If a custom field has multiple values, how do I enter them in the csv?
Using above example, how do I enter “apple, orange” for the fruits cf?

I cant understand what is your actual requirement. There are lot of references available in net to get an better idea. Keep it in mind custom field can have multiple values (properly quoted).
