Custom chicklet images in HTML Tag option – using WP function to refer to theme?

    Hello,

    I’ve read on the main site, that it’s possible to specify custom icons for the social media. In the documentation they are referred to as ‘custom chicklet images‘.

    So, I’m editing code in the Click to view/modify the HTML tags field in the plugin to specify my own images. I’m trying to specify img src using WP get_template_directory_uri() function. However, there is no luck.

    Here is the code:

    <span class='st_linkedin_custom' st_title='<?php the_title(); ?>' st_url='<?php the_permalink(); ?>' displayText='linkedin'>
        <img src='<?php echo get_template_directory_uri(); ?>/images/linkedin.png'>
    </span>

    the_title() function works fine, but get_template_directory_uri() doesn’t… Any help would be hugely appreciated!

    Many thanks,
    Dasha
