First of all, excellent work on this plugin. I featured it yesterday in my monthly Plugin Roundup webinar on iThemes Training where we highlight some of what I think are the best plugins added to the directory each month.

Today, I’m having an issue though. I’m attempting to add a custom banner using the shortcode parameter banner=”xxx” and all I get is the standard YouTube thumbnail. Any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks for your positive response.

In order to show the custom banner, your shortcode should be formatted as follows:

[ib_youtube video=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZfaqLBRP5Yo” image=”https://measuremarketing.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/logo-small.png” width=”640″ height=”360″ thumbnail=”maxresdefault”]

Also, just for your information, please exclude the paragraph around the shortcode because due to some WordPress issue, if we use the shortcode between the <p> tag, our output may get broken.

Thanks Sourabh! Not sure what was preventing it from working before, but the shortcode example you provided did the trick!

This is the same shortcode, we used in the description.
