# Custom Author URL?

 * Hi everyone,
 * I would like to change the link associated with a post author to just anything
   I want, instead of linking to an “author page” that really doesn’t add value.
 * For instance, having a Twitter account linked to the author name would be very
   interesting.
 * Therefore, the link would change from
 * [http://www.mydomain.com/author/name/](http://www.mydomain.com/author/name/)
 * to
 * [Tweets by name](https://twitter.com/name?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)
 * Is there an edit or a plugin that does something this specific?
