    Hello,

so after much teasing got this setup.

i created custom audiences in my wp admin section. Selected the page, added url to include (full url) and referrer as google. all worked fine. It shows on the audience screen in facebook side.

However there is an issue. I get:

Sorry, this rule was created through an API or third-party applications. It contains syntax that we currently don’t support in our interface.

That is stated on the 2 custom audiences i have created.. On this page if it helps:

    https://business.facebook.com/asset-library/audience/
click on an audience, view on right hand side, second section: Audience Details
View how this audience is defined. The name and description is filled out HOWEVER thewebsite is not. It just says this:
    Website traffic —

I created a custom audience via facebook and thats fine. It shows the url I popped in. Only difference when i did this one was not adding in a referrer but i don’t think that should make a difference?

Can this be fixed please as i don’t think it will work as expected. Had high hopes 🙁

    I eagerly await a reply..

    Hi,

Firstly, don’t worry about the facebook message because the custom audience is created with a custom filter via API (that is, in this case, from Pixel Caffeine plugin) and the facebook interface cannot understand the filter in order to show it, but it should work in background and it should collect the users according to the filter you set.

Secondly, about the referral filter, make sure you have enabled the “Advanced data tracking” option in the General Settings tab and make also sure that there is the AdvancedEvents event by checking the Pixel Helper Chrome Extension.

Check out these suggestions and let me know.
