Custom attributes - displaying terms on a page (5 posts)

I am looking to use custom attributes in Woocommerce - tried to follow the instructions here: http://wcdocs.woothemes.com/codex/extending/using-custom-attributes-in-menus/ but do not understand the following

1- Copy woocommerce/templates/taxonomy-product_cat.php into your theme folder
2- Rename the template to reflect your attribute – in our example we’d use taxonomy-pa_size.php

I created taxonomy-pa_size.php but how do I access this page? I am creating static CTAs and wanted to add a static link to taxonomy page for that category. The "Size" page would contain terms for that attribute.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!

So bottom line, what are you trying to do? You're trying to make a button that goes to a page of products that are defined how? Products of a certain size?

Define what you want to do functionally, maybe there is a clearer/better way than this.

In my shop, I have "IT", "Automotive Technology", and "Electronic Components" (these are in top-level navigation menu). Clicking on IT shows a page with a simple content page. On the right are three CTAs - "Services", "Sectors", and "Products".

Clicking on "Services" opens /product-category/information-technology with 3 subcategories (e.g. Computer Peripherals, Accessories, Networking). On that page, on the right there is a "Quick Find" containing a list of attributes and their terms. "Sectors" with "Retail" and "Manufacturing" as terms.

My issue is I need to show a list of of these terms on a "Sectors" page (e.g. if you click on "Sectors" CTA) - I followed the instructions in creating taxonomy-pa_sector.php - and don't exactly know how to access that page (as in what's the URL?).

Perhaps you are right, I might not be using the attributes properly?

I am quite a newbie with Woocommerce so I am still learning! :o)
