# Custom ad template

 * Trying to edit the ad template as described in [https://wpadverts.com/documentation/child-themes-and-templates/](https://wpadverts.com/documentation/child-themes-and-templates/)
   by copying the /templates/single.php as single-advert.php into my themes directory
   the ads displayed load a bunch of images from the site and the page takes for
   ever to load due to the images, so clearly I did something wrong?

 * If your theme is for example twentyten, then you should create a wp-content/themes/
   twentyten/single-advert.php and copy to it content from wp-content/themes/twentyten/
   single.php or page.php NOT from wp-content/plugins/wpadverts/templates/single.
   php
