I followed all the instructions to create a 404 Error page in Divi which I would like to use on our website.

However, nothing really happened after I’ve set the new “Oos” page in Custom 404 Pro Settings as our custom 4040 error page and clicked the “Save Changes” button.

It looks like the process was saving updated settings but settings just revert back to None after “the save”. When I tested the invalid URL “https://info.flutracking.net/dummy.html on our website, the custom 404 page didn’t show at all.

This is the correct URL: https://info.flutracking.net/

I would really appreciate your help to get it working.

    Thank you.

@jfejsa thanks for using the plugin. Can you try disabling the Divi theme and see if the plugin saves the preferences? If not, could you try removing the plugin and installing it again? It’s possible that there might be other themes/plugins that interfere with the workings of this plugin and I just want to make sure of that.

Lastly, what WordPress and plugin version are you using?

I am using WordPress v4.9.6 and running Divi v3.29.3 theme but I’ll will be upgrading to WordPress 5.2.4 and Divi 4.0.2 in couple weeks as soon as Flutracking season is over in Australia.

I unistalled and reinstalled Custom 404 Pro number of times without success so that didn’t fix it.

I do not want to try to disable Divi theme or it could corrupt the site and I would get shot by the management and rest of my Flutracking team.

Custom 404 Pro installation process obviously doesn’t like something on our website.

@jfejsa that’s fine, I’ll try to test on WP 4.9.6 + Divi 3.29.3 and see if I face any issues. Will keep you posted and thanks for the info!

@jfejsa it’s working fine – the only logical explanation now is that there must be other plugins on your WP installation that might be conflicting with Custom 404 Pro. The only way to debug this is to disable the plugins one by one and see which one solves the issue.
