I tried BlogAmp but it would not list on my page.
I’ve followed the directions on the BlogAmp page, added the js script calls to my head section. I’ve verified that both .js files are on my server and that playlist.js is being updated.
I even tried setting both styles to “” (null) and hide_hr to 0 (and tried 1).
Is there something I’m missing?

It’s over a year since I used Blogamp but I recall the hardest thing was getting the paths right – both for winamp and on the server.
Another option though is to use Audiscrobbler ?

You could also do it via an image: http://gerpok.com/
I’ll take a look at both. Thank you. π
Audioscrobbler was *exactly* what I was looking for … I just didn’t know it at the time. π Once again, ya save me podz. *grin*
I got the Audioscrobbler plug for winamp and am using the rss2html php script to populate my audio playlist feed into a page.
YAY! π http://www.nitallica.org/?page_id=247
Looks very awesome. I may just have to copy that idea. π
cg-what tunes – http://www.chait.net/index.php?p=238
I think that will do what you want as well, plus it’ll display amazon art and affiliate links if you want
at least thats what it says, not actually used it yet…
I have been unable to get cg-what tunes to work. Not because it is bad but because I cannot find instructions anywhere. I know how to copy the plugin into WordPress and make it active and what code to add to my template to show the adat but there is no explanation of how to get the data from Winamp to my web space so it can be displayed on the blog.
why not contact the guy who owns the site and ask him how??
maybe it uses a winamp plugin like this to send the info – http://www.cc.jyu.fi/~ltnevala/nowplaying/
DoSomething also works quite well.
“why not contact the guy who owns the site and ask him how??”
I did and got no answer.
I’ve made the page with compilation of winamp plugins for WordPress:

You missed CG-WhatTunes… π
