    Hi Rich,

That’s pretty strange. The current-menu-item class is added by the core WordPress menu system, so ShiftNav doesn’t add or remove it (it just prints whatever is passed by the system). However, it is possible that a theme could be removing that class (though I’m not sure why it would).

If you’re sure those items should definitely have that class, then I’d do a search through your theme for both that string (current-menu-item) and the “nav_menu_css_class” filter to see if it might be manipulating things.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Chris

Thanks for the advice, have searched the theme and no joy, its weird as it works fine for the standard menu but not the ShiftNav one.

Have even tried the override filters option (pro) but it still does not add the classes

Hmm, I’m not sure what could be going on there, Rich. If you’d like to Submit a Ticket I can take a closer look.

    Best,

    Chris
