    The current day’s events are not showing up on the “Upcoming Events” page, and on the “Single Event” page there is a message saying the event has passed even though the start time hasn’t arrived yet.
    For instance if the event it at 7 pm on Mar 4, and its 11 am on Mar 4 the message says it has passed when it hasn’t.
    Is there a way to fix this?

  • Did you check the time settings on the server?

    I don’t know what you mean about time settings on the server, in any case I don’t have access to server settings. The time setting in WordPress is correctly set.
    I just noticed that there is an option in the plugin to either use “local time zones for each event” or “sitewide time zones everywhere”. It was set to the former. I just changed it to the later but it shouldn’t make a difference as all our events are local.

    Could someone please give me a solution to this problem?

    First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.

    Actually, you are on the right track. This is probably a combination of either:

    1. Your server’s timezone setting
    2. Your PHP timezone setting (sometimes different than the server’s)
    3. Your WordPress timezone setting
    4. the Events Calendar timezone setting both under Events -> Settings -> General and in each event

    You will have to inquire to your web hosting company about the first two to see what it it set at.
    The WordPress timezone setting should be set to a city (not UTC + or UTC -).
    The Use local timezone for each event is the preferred setting.

    Long story short, you will have to run a few tests to see which setting works for you. I would also recommend the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/time-zones/
