Currency/Language limit per country

    Hello;

    I have an ecommerce web site working with wpml plugin. I need to solve something else before activate it.

    I am using multi currency and using fixed price, so I don’t calculate exchange rate. I usually ship within Turkey but I would like to sell other countries too.

    What I want to do,
    – People from Turkey can only access Turkish website and Turkish Liras. They can switch language but not currency. I don’t want them to see USD prices.

    – People from the other countries except Turkey should only access English version of the web site and should only see USD prices.

    I can do redirection with a geolocation service but I don’t know how to handle with the currency.

    Is there anyway to limit country selection by currency/language at the address page? Like, if you add some product in Turkish website and Turkish Liras, you should only see Turkey as country in address form.

    Any idea?

    The functionality that you request is something that requires additional coding.
    Also, geo-location is not very useful as it can easily be bypassed via VPN.

    I guess you can give a try to the WooCommerce Gateway Country limiter plugin that comes with WPML CMS license: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-gateways-country-limiter/
    This is not exactly what you want but you could probably setup Turkish liras as a currency only for your Turkish part of the site ( you can do that in WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual > Multicurrency page by checking/unckeking checkboxes for the appropriate currency) and probably have a dedicated payment method for the Turkish lira and other one for the other currencies.
    e.g. if you set only Turkish lira to be available for the Turkish part of your site, and if you have Cash On Delivery set for that method – you can then have PayPay for the other language and hide the Cash on Delivery gateway for the other language.
