    Hello

I would like to test this plugin as I am creating a shop on Pinterest. May I ask some questions about the columns, please?

On this page of Pinterest there are the required columns:
    https://help.pinterest.com/en/business/article/before-you-get-started-with-catalogs#section-9441
    id
    title
    description
    link
    image_link
    price
    availability

Your plugin – as far as I understand – requires these:
    id
    title
    description (short description)
    link
    image_link (product first image)
availability (in stock, out of stock, preorder)
    condition (default ‘new’)
    sale price
    price

    I struggle with three things:
    1. condition: Everything we sell is new but I do not think WooCommerce is having a column for this, or do they? What do we have to do here?
    2. sale price: We never fill this field in WooCommerce. What does your plugin do with it?
3 Price: Does the plugin read the default price? E.G. 405 EUR? I am asking since if there is no currency Pinterest would put everything in USD.

Thank you for your answer and kind regards
    Brigitte

    Hi brigittekobi,

I’m sorry for the late reply! Thank you for your questions.

The link you posted is correct, just a standard XML template for beginner level. I use an advanced template to activate other features besides the price. For more information, please check the link.

    1. condition: It is not possible for me to get this data from WC tables. That’s why I give default value. The reason I include this is Pinterest wants to know if the product is in stock. It is an advantage for your store that it always appears in stock.
    2. sale price: You don’t have to fill this out. If you leave it blank, the old price will not be displayed on Pinterest.
3 Price: Currency is automatically displayed as USD.

    Hi mcyenikoylu

Thank you for your answer. Meanwhile I solved these issues but another one has appeared:
    1. Condition. I am ok with this
    2. Yes, I tested this
    3. This is not true – and I am happy. Pinterest’s default is USD but if you have the correct code and deliver it, it is displayed in EUR. That worked perfecty.

    QUESTION:
Is it possible that there is an issue with things make to order or on backorder? At least I have 3 items that are not displayed.
Pinterest’s tag for this is “preorder”
WooCommerce calls it “Backorder” or is there an other setting I should use in WooCommerce? It is a variable, phyiscal product.

    Kind regards
    Brigitte

    Hi brigittekobi,

You can update row 172 for the backorder.

    HI mcyenikoylu

This time I am sorry for the late reply.

Will this amendment survive updates of the plugin or of WooCommerce itself? I will test it these days.

    Kind regards
    Brigitte

    Hi brigittekobi,

This development will be a process specific to your system. You should not update for the newly released version of the plugin! If you update the new version of the plugin in the future, you will need to revise row 172 again. This process is suitable for WooCommerce. You won’t have a problem.
