# Currency ?

 * Hello,
 * On my site I have swedish coronas as currency (SEK) .
 * However, I saw that the report in google says dollars.
 * So I changed in GA > admin > view settings > currency to SEK ..
 * However the amount did not change in the reports. 1 USD = 10 SEK approx. so instead
   of saying 1000 SEK it says 100 SEK.
 * My question is:
 * How is the currency reported to analytics?
 * If I keep it like it is now, will maybe the next transaction be the correct amount
   in SEK?
 * Does GA know what currency is used on my site?
 * What are your recommendations?

 * The effect of the changes you have made in your analytics account’s “**View Settings**”
   will only apply to the future transactions.
 * It will not affect/change the historical data in your analytics account.
 * So we request you to analyze the data for next couple of days & get back to us
   if you find anything.
