# CURL error

 * I am trying to test the plugin on my localhost, but can’t even activate it. It
   says:
 * Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Error: It 
   seems that CURL is disabled on your server. Please contact your server administrator
   to install / enable CURL.
 * CURL is enabled and is working fine with everything else, including all other
   plugins.
 * Can you help?

 * We released USM Plus version 3.1.5. Please update the plugin from your WordPress
   dashboard and see if the cURL error is gone.

   the error you saw after update?
 * If so, that points to an error in downloading the plugin files from WordPress
   servers.
 * Please try to delete the plugin and install it again, for us it worked.

 * Thanks for the reply. No, it isn’t, installation is successful. After installation,
   I cannot activate it, it displays the message I wrote in my first post.
    I have
   tried deleting and reinstalling it, installation is again successful, activation
   fails with the error above.
 * Are there other reasons you can think of on my side that blocks it? I can’t think
   of any, curl is certainly working, it is necessary for installation itself, updating
   etc.

 * It is working now, sorry for the trouble. Solution: indeed, curl was not enabled
   on my localhost properly.
