 * I just installed your plugin with the thumbnail/text display at the end of my
posts and really like it. I did notice that when I ran a speed test using Google
Page Speed Insights for Desktop, I am getting significant cumulative layout shift(“
CLS”) of over .4 from the plugin, which I know will be a ranking factor for Google
soon. I am slightly confused why I am getting CLS on this since the end of my
posts are not in the initial view of my website and the Related Posts only get
inserted later. As of now, I changed the Related Posts to just text without the
thumbnails and I am not getting any CLS problems on Desktop. Mobile has not been
an issue. Additionally, when I run the test on GTMetrix, I get no CLS reported
on Desktop. Is there a way to fix the CLS on Desktop?

 * I have to honest that I do not know what the CLS actually is. Does it work if
you change the styles to another option e.g. grid?

 * I tested out the Rounded thumbnails with CSS grid and the issue seems to resolve.
I think the issue is with the Masonry option where somehow the page is shifting
downward when the images load. I do like the Masonry look on my site, but I will
avoid it for now unless there is a workaround. I’m not an expert either, but
I’ve read that setting a fixed width and height can help solve CLS issues in
some cases, so the browser doesn’t adjust their placement. Not sure if that applies
   here.

 * Thanks – I can’t promise a fix yet but I’ll look into this if it is possible.
It could simply be because of the masonry CSS code
