CTRL + Z deletes whole lot instead of steps and …

    Hello
    If I use CTRL + Z deletes whole lot instead of steps and CTRL + Y does not work at all.
    I am a avid keyboard shortcut user and I really need it to work smoothly and not risk to spend time to fix what should not need to be fixed manually – i.e. the step CTRL + Z Undoes.

    If I deactivate and use blocks ,CTRL + Y does work and CTRL + Z still doing the same blooming thing.

    Why is not acting as a proper CTRL + Z?

    It has been a short while using WordPress from 5.7 to latest and having same behaviour on Firefox various editions.

    i.e. each CTRL + Z must undo ‘last’ step and not all steps.

    PS If I save the page, then it does the ‘last’ undo
