CSV product upload

    i have a couple of test product on my site (being built) and created tabs for features and specifications. Export products as a csv with meta, and the code is there for the new tabs.

    What i want to be able to do is create all my products in the csv, with these tabs, then bulk load to the site, but obviously unique content in the tabs on each product.

    Can i copy the tabs data? and just change content? i tried but it didnt seem to work.

    I assume this is something many users are doing, or would want to, so appreciate any help

    Your tabs are saved as serialized data so editing won’t work as it would be corrupted.

    There isn’t any good way around this unfortunately so I would just stick to editing the tabs within WordPress.

    If you want to edit those tabs you’ll have to learn about serialized data and how to edit it without causing corruption. You can easily test out by trying to upload to WordPress and seeing if the meta pulls through.
