   shows no actual way to select the file in the media library. Only shows upload
   button. When it is clicked I get “{“success”:false,”data”:”Please provide the
   file that you wish to import.”}”

 * Hi [@webtivity](https://wordpress.org/support/users/webtivity/)
 * Thanks for reaching out!
    I’ve seen a similar issue recently where the user could
   not upload a file. It was caused by a plugin conflict. I don’t remember which
   one from the top of my head, but if you can share your plugin list I should be
   able to pinpoint it, if it’s there.
 * Another way of finding out would be running a conflict test:

 * Hope this helps.

 * Thanks for the info András.
 * I was wondering if it could be a plugin conflict.
 * See screenshot of active plugins [here](https://www.manateetech.edu/Plugins.png)

   If you see anything that looks familiar please let me know. Otherwise I’ll start
   disabling them one by one. The plugin covered by the admin bar is W3 Total Cache.
 * Thanks again!

 * Hi [@webtivity](https://wordpress.org/support/users/webtivity/),
 * I just remembered, it was ActiveMember360 which was causing an issue. I don’t
   see that on your plugin list though, so that means it could be any of the others…
 * The way to find out is via doing a conflict test. If this is a live site where
   you cannot really deactivate plugins, then I recommend using the Health Check
   and Troubleshooting plugin. That is great for this. Here’s what to do:
 * With the Health Check plugin activate Troubleshooting mode. Your visitors will
   not see any change, the troubleshooting mode is only active for the user activating
   it, so only you.
 * After activating all plugins will be disabled for you and the theme will be switched
   to a default one, if you have one installed.
 * Enable The Events Calendar in troubleshooting mode and test if the import works.

   If yes, great, next step: activate your theme. Test the import again. If it works
   great, next step: enable 3-5 plugins and test…
 * Rinse and repeat…
 * When the import stops working you know it is caused by one of the plugins you
   last activated. Go one by one to find it.
 * After the whole troubleshooting you can deactivate troubleshooting mode and everything
   will go back to normal for your user.
 * Let me know what you find.

 * Hey András,
 * Just wanted to follow up on this topic and let you know I found the plugin causing
   the issue. “WP Advanced PDF” plugin was the culprit. Once that one was disabled
   the import was working.
 * Thanks again for the help!

 * Great to hear you found it! Good job!
 * I see you already marked this resolved. If you bump into any other issues, please
   open a new ticket.
 * Cheers
