I was importing a file from the following:

    TRIP_NUMBER,ORIG_ZONE_DESC,DEST_ZONE_DESC,PICK_UP_APPT_MADE,PICKUP_BY,DELIVER_BY,DISTANCE_LOADED,LS_NUM_LEGS,REQUESTED_EQUIPMEN,LS_INTERLINER_STATUS,
    71908,COLUMBUS, OH,KENOSHA, WI,TRUE,6/27/17 8:00,6/27/17 23:30,358.7,1,R53
    72106,IMLAY CITY, MI,SPRINGFIELD, OH,TRUE,6/27/17 8:00,6/27/17 18:00,236.6,1,R53
    71703,FRANKLIN, OH,CINCINNATI, OH,TRUE,6/27/17 9:30,6/27/17 14:00,26.6,1,V53
    72067,PHILADELPHIA, PA,MONTGOMERY, NY,TRUE,6/27/17 10:00,6/28/17 3:30,149.8,1,V53

And trying to append it to a table I created with those column labels and the file is not parsing. It is sticking everything in a single column. When I import the data and add new table, TablePress does the same thing. Is there a setting for CSV files to denote what character is the separator?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I can’t reproduce these problems. I just copied what you posted into an empty file, saved it as test.csv and was able to import that without problems…

Which import settings were you using?

    Regards,
    Tobias
