• I am using wordpress 4.5.2 and am trying to set up and use mailpoet 2.7.2.

While importing my subscriber list with a .csv file, it asks me to map the columns, as expected, and shows the many columns of my excel file. However, it only imported one of my subscribers (despite saying it imported three). The only subscriber on the list was the last row of the csv file.

I next tried to import them manually in the correct format (email; first; last). While I only tried to import 5 subscribers, it again asked me to map the columns (showing me all five rows) and wait. When it was done, it had only imported one subscriber (the last one on the list) and it had replaced the subscriber imported by the csv file (they were different people).

Is there some sort of hidden subscriber limit setting that I am failing to see and change?
    Thanks!

  • Hi,

    1. Can you try pasting the file’s contents into the text box (rather than uploading the file?)

    2. If the subscriber already exists in your system, they will be updated, not created as a new subscriber.

    Thanks!

    1. As I stated in the paragraph that starts “I next tried to import them manually…” I did try to paste a few of them into the text box. This is when only one of them made it in and it replaced the one imported by the csv. So Aaron Ames replaced Robert Zeigler.

    2. See Above. Aaron Ames replaced Robert Zeigler – each have their own, unique email addresses.

The bottom line is that the program refuses to let us have more than one person in that list. My executive director seems to think there is a “we are not spamming” checkbox we might need to check, so that we can import our google list (which just grew over 500 names making it a royal pain to send via google) into MailPoet.

    Hi,

Can you please contact us here?
