 * I’m a bit frustrated by the difference in how CSS is address based on which version
of wordpress your using. I just completed the customization of a friends blog
using 2.9.1. It was very fluid and easy to edit the stylesheet. I’m now attempting
to work on a second blog (which to be honest – I can’t figure out which version
of WP it is) but I had to purchase an upgrade to edit the stylesheet. I then
foolishly copied and pasted the entire original stylesheet into the CSS editor
and my header image disappeared. I would really like to start over but there
is no reset button to reverse what I’ve done. I would love to upgrade the [http://marcjohnsonbooks.wordpress.com/](http://marcjohnsonbooks.wordpress.com/)
blog to 2.9.1 which I’m already familiar with but I would to satisfied with just
resetting the blog to its original theme. What should I do?

 * You’d never pay to edit CSS on a blog running the software from this site (.org).
But you need to be aware that WordPress.**com **is a hosted blog provider running
a slightly different variation — not the same as what you get from from WordPress.**
   org** (here).
 * You can ask questions about editing CSS on .com blogs at the [WordPress.**com** forums](http://en.forums.wordpress.com/).

 * I really didn’t know there was a difference. Thank for pointing that out. It
makes sense now. My friend must have signed up through the .org site. Which I’ll
be switching to since I found it easier to use. Seriously. THANK YOU for clarifying
   the difference between the two.
