Support » Fixing WordPress » css to be fixed

  • I have been posting on the theme eStore’s support forum with no response for quite a long time.

As this could be fixed by some simple tweak in css, I decided to post in the generic forum here hoping to get some help:

As you can see from the live site, there is an About Us section in the middle of the page.

The section is good except the width is not right, it should be adjusted to align with the rest of the page, leaving some margin on the right.

I tried margin and padding, margin doesn’t work out at all, padding seems to be working, however, not align exactly, I guess this might be because of responsive design in the theme.

I’ve never dealt with responsive design, it would be really appreciated if someone can help me sort it out.

    Thank you in advance.

To the moderator: please do not take it off here, as I said in the beginning, the theme support doesn’t respond, and this question might be fixed here as well. Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You need to remove the coming soon page.

Thank you, I did remove the coming soon, don’t understand why it still shows coming soon.

Since Bluehost introduced the change, the built-in coming soon is really annoying.

I ended up calling and talking to Bluehost support, what they found out is the setting somehow was cached on the server side, meaning despite I disabled the coming soon option, it still is showing up to visitors because it is cached on the server! What a ridiculous feature introduced by Bluehost.

Anyway, it is cleared now. Hopefully you can see the site.

    Thank you.

The section is good except the width is not right, it should be adjusted to align with the rest of the page, leaving some margin on the right.

This is a design choice of the theme rather than a bug and it looks like you need to change the HTML structure of that section, or at least the classes involved.

This is not a question fit for the generic Troubleshooting forum because it requires knowledge of your theme. You need to continue the thread you started on the theme’s support section.

If your theme does not provide support you ought to look for a new one that does. That’s the most realistic solution.
