Support » Plugin: Transposh WordPress Translation » [CSS Solution] Transposh – Remove Blue Hover Color under Flags

  • Hello everyone,

    After a few hours of painful trial, I eventually figure out a way to hide the unwanted blue hover color behind flags (Note: This solution cannot change the color, just remove it instead)

    I would like to show you my example here:
    https://tachyonlight.com/product/1000w-high-power-led-football-stadium-flood-light/

    Please go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS -> Then put these codes at the bottom…

    /* Remove Blue Hover Effect of Flag */
    .transposh_flags a span, .transposh_flags a img {
        border-width: 0px 0px;
        margin: 1px 3px;
    }

    Let me explain to you the mechanism:
    First thing first, the blue color comes from hovering border color, which is blue in default. We can remove the blue color by setting the border width to 0.

    But this is not the end of story, as if you just put this line, you will discover there is no space between flags which affects appearance. So we can insert the space again by using “margin”. The 1px & 3px in “margin: 1px 3px;” is the default border, so if you copy the above code, you will get exactly the same spacing of default setting, and the only difference is the removal of blue color.

    Please let me know if its works.
