CSS scrollbar help

  • Hi I’m new to here and first time using word press so all day I’ve just been messing around with it. I finally got a layout I kinda liked and set up here at my domain: http://chasez-online.com/ but see with my layouts I use iframes and like the scrollbar to match the page instead of the standard scroll bar. I put the css coding for that in the stylesheet where it’s usually put but it’s still not changing. Am I not doing something right or can you not have css scrollbars on here?

Thanks if anyone can help and if I need to supply anymore info let me know. 🙂

Custom scrollbar colors only work in IE5.5 or higher (I haven’t tested IE8 though). Are you using IE5.5+?

Other notes: If your page doctype triggers a “strict” mode in IE, the scrollbar properties need to be assigned to the <html> tag instead of the conventional <body> tag in order to work. Also keep in mind that if you want to color the scrollbar of a page loaded into an iframe, the scrollbar styles need to be placed on the page that is loaded into the iframe. Looks like you are okay on both of these items as of this post though.
