# CSS recipe from scratch?

 * Is this a totally from scratch site? To date I have only been messing with existing
   themes and looking for something different that looks different. I have tried
   static cover pages but this example seems much more than that. Is there a place
   to go on forum or codex that discusses building your own? Or examples of more
   image vs text page one’s? I don’t even know how to tag this new topic. Thanks

 * Not really.
    On the other hand it is not entirely clear what are you asking –
   related to the example site you gave above. There the blog is on a subdomain (
   =blog). Reagrdless of its situation – the look (design) is always determined 
   by the theme. Start with the link Otto gave you. It should take a few days to
   digest it all (together with the linked tutorials). There is no shortcut…
