[CSS] Problem with footer

  • Hi,
i created a child theme for twenty ten.
Now, i want to guarantee that the footer will not move from the place he is, and that if i add text to him (a lot), the text will not appear outside the footer but inside.

Any tips how i should configure the css?

    Regards

should not be a problem even with the default css

    – if you run into problems, there might be an error in your html structure depending on where you insert the text into the footer.

in which case, post a link to your site.

and keep checking the validity of your html output; http://validator.w3.org/

i’m working in a local server.
can you tell me where is the code in the style.css of twenty ten that guarante me what i want?

there is no gurantee – css always needs to be seen in connection with the html structure.

try to use a tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to identify which styles are involved in the footer.
