Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
The “Custom CSS” textarea is only available to users with the necessary access rights, which means that you need to be logged-in as an “Administrator”. Is that the case for your username?
Also, please check if the “Custom CSS” section is maybe hidden via the checkbox in the “Screen Options” tab in the upper right corner of the browser window on the “Plugin Options” screen.
Regards,
Tobias
I am the only admin on the site and I yes I checked the Screen Options and there’s only the “User Options” available to check…
Hi,
ok, that indicates that your user role has been stripped the necessary access capabilities.
Are you maybe using a plugin like “Members” or “User Role Editor”? Those might have caused this.
Regardless, you could try to simply restore the access capabilities. For that, please follow the instructions at http://wordpress.org/support/topic/troubles-with-tablepress-rights?replies=4#post-5585107

I am using Advanced Access Manager and WP eMember however deactivating both AND restoring the access capabilities as per the post above did not resolve the problem. Any other ideas?
Hi,
ok, that’s really strange then. If possible, I’d then like to take a direct look at this on the site. Unfortunately, as I’m on vacation and travelling right now, I don’t have my developer tools at hand though, so this is a little bit tricky, but I will try. Could you please create a temporary admin account for me and send me the details via email (the address is in the plugin’s main file “tablepress.php”). I will then take a direct look.
Regards,
Tobias
Thanks Tobias, I appreciate it and I will do that.
Hi,
thanks! I have received your email and will take look as soon as I can.
Regards,
Tobias
