    I Have created a child theme and have added the @import rule, yet the css is not showing up. Any thoughts.

    Web site in question. http://www.amexicaninthekitchen.com

    This is what my child theme looks like.

    Theme Name: Twenty Eleven Child
    Theme URI: http://amexicaninthekitchen.com
    Description: Child theme for the Twenty Eleven theme
    Author: Isela Espana
    Author URI: http: //amexicaninthekitchen.com
    Template: twentyeleven
    Version: 1.0
    @import url("../twentyeleven/style.css");

    /* =Reset default browser CSS. Based on work by Eric Meyer: http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/index.html

    I went and looked at one of mine! :D it's an easy fix just use single ' instead of double! :)

    @import url('../hybrid/library/css/25px.css');

    Hope this helps!

    I have the same problem -- Megan's solution worked for me! (Thanks, Megan!!)

    Now is there a reason why WordPress.org uses double quotes when, at least for some folks, single quotes are what work?? And, more to the point, shouldn't WordPress note this in its child themes codex page???
