CSS, need a little help

  • Hey all, me asking for a little help again. On my test site I am trying to work on an implementation of phplayers. The problem I think I’m having is if I put the menu above the flash object, it only shows the menu correctly in IE cause of this.
If I keep the menu where it is, I run into problems with my sidebars. I think the problem with the sidebars are because of the position: absolute for both the menu and the sidebars. Any help is much appreciated.

  • bump – anyone?

    FF1 and IE6 here.
I see one difference – the menu boxes (apart from not being rounded but that’s another issue) are different heights in IE.
    Is that the problem ?
(Apologies for maybe not seeing something incredibly obvious)

Take a look at the “Most Valuable Network” part of the menu and hover over it, notice how the drop down goes behind the sidebar box and not infront of it. That’s what I’m trying to fix. Same problem wiht the sidebar on the right if you have a small enough resolution.

In case anyone is interested, I had to set the z-index to be a higher value for the menu to appear above the sidebars.
