CSS modification ($)

  • Running WP 3.8.1 with a custom theme for a non-profit website. The custom theme makes it hard for me to work on.

I need the the four boxes at the top of the Home page to be replaced by an easy-to-modify slider (like the one I inserted as a test under Partners), one I can insert from the “Edit Page” page. I still want the News feed to show up just as it is on the front page. The formatting for the four boxes is buried in the CSS I think, and I don’t know how to safely change that so that it’s just a slider that I can edit with my existing slider plugin.

I also hate how the Tiny URL shows up – it’s just clunky and awkward. I need a better way to present the Sharing capability for FB, Twitter, and through a shortlink.

I know I can’t do this on my own, so if someone would be willing to do this for me, we could give you a small compensation for your time.
