CSS Layout Assistance

Currently attempting to do the following that has eluded me:

Problem 1: The back boxes are uneven due to content (multiple line product description). I would like to even them out across the site.

Problem 2: Color of the price font… Completely difficult to see, where do I find the causes for the color for them?

Layout of this page is not grid based… any ideas?
